Pistachio Pudding Lush Dessert
Pistachio Lush Pudding Dessert has a perfect crust topped with layers of sweet, creamy and flavorful! It's perfect for your vacation get-together or just because!
INGREDIENTS
CRUST
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
LAYER OF CREAM CHEESE
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 container (16 ounces) Cool Whip, divided
- 1 pkg. (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
PISTACHIO PUDDING LAYER
- 3 cups of whole milk
- 2 small cans of pistachio instant pudding mix
GARNISH
- chopped pistachios, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
First, in a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and sugar. Press into bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Then, beat cream cheese with electric mixer until creamy. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip. Spread over graham cracker crust.
In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until starting to thicken, about 2 minutes.
Spread over a layer of cream cheese.
Spread the rest of the Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top, if desired.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
