Asian Sprite Chicken
Asian Sprite Chicken - delicious and tender chicken pieces with sweet and spicy Asian sauce with sprite soda.
INGREDIENTS
600g boneless skinless pigeon breast , dig pieces
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy
1 tablespoon black soy
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 vertebra ginger (size one tablespoon), thinly sliced
pinch of red chili flakes (optional, are often removed if you do not just like the spiciness)
480 ml (2 cups) Sprite (or use an identical brand)
6 new onions (green onions), chopped.
Spray vegetable oil (I used avocado)
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Add the chicken to a ziplock bag or bowl with 1 tablespoon soy (not the black one) and 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch. Stir until well coated.
2.Spray a skillet over medium heat with vegetable oil spray. After skillet is hot, add chicken and fry until all pieces are golden (few minutes).
3.Delete and save.
4.Add the ginger, garlic, chili flakes and 4 chopped spring onions to the skillet and saute the soybeans briefly for added flavor.
5.Mix the remaining cornstarch with alittle drop of cold water to form a puree (liquid paste)
6.Add the sprite, black soy , and cornstarch puree to the pan.
7.Heat the sauce over medium-high heat, add the chicken and let it simmer until it begins to thicken and thicken.
8.Serve with the remaining sprinkling of chives and serve with a entremots of your choice.
