Asian Ramen Noodle Broccoli Slaw
This sweet and crunchy Asian broccoli ramen coleslaw is the perfect accompaniment to Sunday dinner or your next barbecue party!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 12 oz package of broccoli salad
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of garlic salt
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 package of 3 oz Ramen noodles (any flavor)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
First, preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Crush the ramen noodles, discard the flavor packet. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and toast for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
Then, in a medium mixing bowl, combine the broccoli salad, chopped peanuts, chopped cilantro and sliced green onion.
In another bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, garlic salt and garlic powder, and black pepper. Whish for 1-2 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour over the broccoli salad. Mix well.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and toss with the ramen noodles just before serving. Happy Cooking Time.
