Easy Crock Pot Chili Recipe

Easy Crock Pot Chili Recipe

Easy Crock Pot Chili is one of my most popular recipes of all time, in the fall and winter thousands of people make it every day! And for good reason, it's the best chili in the slow cooker! It's incredibly tasty, high in protein, and perfectly filling, and it's a dinner anyone can agree on.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of light beer
  • 14 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 medium onions, diced
  • 3 lbs of lean ground beef
  • 15 oz red beans
  • 28 oz of whole tomatoes with juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 14 oz diced tomatoes

Seasoning mix

  • 2 teaspoons of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin
  • 4 tablespoons of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper

Instructions

First, combine seasoning mix with ground beef and mix until well combined.

Then, brown the ground beef, onions and garlic until no pink remains. Drain off any fat. Add the beer and simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated.

Combine beef mixture and all remaining ingredients in slow cooker. If desired, lightly mash whole tomatoes. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 7 to 8 hours. Happy Cooking Time.
