Singapore Chili Prawns
Singapore chili prawns are super quick and straightforward to form and surprisingly delicious! The sweet, tangy and sour spaghetti sauce is great and goes well with the delicious prawns. i really like this dish such a lot that I've made it for the second time.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon groundnut oil
1 pound shrimp (peeled and discarded)
1 tablespoon garlic (chopped)
1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
1/4 cup shallots (chopped)
2 bird peppers or germander speedwell chilies or red jalapenos (sliced)
1/2 cup of water
4 tablespoons of spaghetti sauce
3 tablespoons sweet condiment
1/2 lime (juice)
2 teaspoons palm sugar (grated or sugar)
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 egg (lightly beaten)
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Heat oil during a skillet.
2.Add the garlic, ginger, onion, and paprika and saute until fragrant, a few minute.
3.Add the prawns and saute briefly on each side .
4.Add water, spaghetti sauce , sweet condiment , juice . sugar and cornstarch, bring back a boil.
5.Stir the eggs within the pan and keep stirring until the eggs are cooked.
