FLOURLESS PANCAKES






FLOURLESS PANCAKES








Flourless flour-free pancakes mix quickly in a blender or bowl, have a soft, light banana oat texture and are naturally gluten-free.

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup fresh fruit optional for serving
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey optional for serving
  • ½ banana mashed
  • 1 scoop or packet vanilla protein powder* use a gluten free variety as needed
  • ¼ cup egg whites** + 1-2 tablespoons water as needed for a thinner consistency

Instructions

First, crush the banana in a small bowl. Add protein powder and egg whites; stir to combine and add 1-2 tablespoons of water as needed for a thinner consistency.

Then, heat a skillet or greased pan over medium-low heat. Pour slowly and evenly

Dough on the pan to make several small pancakes. I use a measuring cup 1/4 cup per pancake. Bake 3 to 5 minutes on one side. Once the underside of the pancake is golden, turn carefully and cook for another 3 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the pancake is cooked through.

Remove from heat and garnish with a dash of real maple syrup and fruit if desired. Happy Cooking Time.
