Oreo Buttercream Frosting







Oreo Buttercream Frosting








Light and fluffy Oreo whipped glaze is a rich vanilla butter cream filled with pieces of Oreo biscuits. A delicious way to cook chocolate or vanilla cakes!

Ingredients
  • 12 Oreo cookies (for placing in the batter)
  • 12 Oreo cookies (for placing on the top of the cupcake)
  • 12 chocolate cupcakes

For the frosting:
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 - 2 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions

First, Make batter for homemade chocolate cupcakes. Add paper liners to a muffin tin. 

Then, Place an Oreo at the bottom of each liner (optional). Spoon batter over top and bake according to recipe instructions.

For the frosting:

First, Cream the butter with electric beaters until light and fluffy. 

Then, Add powdered sugar and cream and beat well. Add vanilla.

Gently stir in crushed Oreos. Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes. Top with an Oreo. Happy Cooking Time.
