VEGAN SNICKERS BARS
The BEST homemade vegan Snickers bars that are easy, sugar free, healthy and made with just 6 ingredients! These healthy snickers are the best homemade Halloween candy!
Ingredients
Nougat
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 cup of almond flour
- 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1/3 cup food processor mashed gluten-free oats into flour
- 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
Date caramel
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
- 2 cups diced Medjool dates
- 3 tablespoons of coconut cream
Coating:
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 150 g dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
First, line a loaf pan with parchment paper extending on both sides like wings.
Then, in a food processor, puree the oats, almond flour, peanut butter, coconut oil, maple and salt until smooth. Wrap in the bottom of the loaf pan and freeze.
Place the dates, maple and coconut cream in a saucepan and simmer until bubbling. Transfer to a food processor and puree until very smooth. Mix with the peanuts and layer the nougat layer on top of it. Return to freezer for 2 hours.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave 50% at 30 second intervals until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
Using a greased knife, carefully remove the parchment from the sides of the bars and cut into 12 bars.
Prepare a baking sheet lined with a silpat.
Dip the bars in the chocolate until they are fully coated and place them on the silpat. Refrigerate or freeze 10 minutes.
