Sweet Sticky Chicken
Sweet Sticky Chicken - fluffy seasoned chicken thigh pieces during a tablespoon of sweet, sticky sauce, using simple cupboard ingredients and you're ready and on the table in but half-hour . it is a hassle-free meal
INGREDIENTS
750g raw boneless skinless chicken thighs (cut from visible fat), dig pieces
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
sea salt and black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
FOR SWEET AND PRECISION SAUCE
4 tablespoons syrup
3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon soy
1 tablespoon ingredient (puree)
1/2 cup (120 ml) water
cooking oil spray
INSTRUCTIONS
1.In a jug, combine water, syrup , balsamic vinegar, soy and tomato puree.
2.Spray a frypan over high heat with a touch vegetable oil .
3.Add chicken, ginger, shallot powder, garlic powder and season with salt and black pepper.
4.Fry until brown on all sides. Delete and save.
5.Add the sauce ingredients to the saucepan and use a wooden spoon to scrape off any sticking pieces, this may increase the flavour of your sauce.
6.Boil the sauce over high heat until it begins to thicken, you'll know the sauce is thick enough if you set a wooden spoon into the sauce and therefore the sauce breaks.
7.Once the sauce reaches this consistency, add the chicken and continue simmering until the chicken pieces are coated in sauce and cooked through.
8.Taste and season with salt and black pepper if necessary.
9.Serve with the side of your choice and luxuriate in !!
