crispy baked salmon nuggets

 crispy baked salmon nuggets

Salmon is one of the foods I always try for my kids to eat. It's a great source of protein for a growing body, not to mention a great way to include omega-3 essential fatty acids. No wonder salmon is known as a brain food!

INGREDIENTS

2 fillets of Norwegian salmon

40g / 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

40g / 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon of mixed dry herb

salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1.Remove the skin from the salmon fillet and cut into small pieces.

2.In a bowl, add flour. In the second bowl, crack the eggs and beat with a fork. In the third bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs and mix the dry spices, salt and pepper to taste.

3.Make nuggets by taking a piece of salmon, coating it with flour, dipping it in an egg and sprinkling it on top of breadcrumbs. Repeat until all the nuggets are finished.

4.Lightly grease the baking sheet and place the nuggets there. Bake at 220 ° C for 12 to 15 minutes until done.

5.Serve immediately.

NOTE

1.If you want to cook and freeze these nuggets at the same time, it is best to freeze them after making them, but before baking. After step 3, add the nuggets to the tray or plate in a single layer. Freeze for a few hours, then transfer to a bag or container for up to 2 months.

2.To cook, simply cook according to the directions above, adding a few more minutes to the cooking time.
