Crab and Sweet Corn Soup








This rich and flavorful crab and sweet corn soup recipe is made from scratch, starting with the crab stock preparation. A fun weekend recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 chicken broth cube
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 can (398 ml) creamed corn
  • salt and white pepper to taste
  • Sesame oil
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 can of crabmeat 120g, drained
  • ¼ cup cornstarch dissolved in ¼ cup water

Instructions

First, bring the water and the bouillon cube to a boil. Add the crab meat and corn. Simmer for 2 minutes. Season as desired.

Then, slowly add the cornstarch mixture, stirring until the soup thickens.

Remove from heat, immediately pour in the beaten egg in a steady stream to form floral patterns on the surface.

Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with green onions.

Serve immediately. Good cooking time.
