Brussels Sprouts In Garlic Butter








It's a good thing that Brussels sprouts have made a big comeback, because they're delicious! Try this garlic butter Brussels sprouts recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Avocado oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 tsp Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic smashed with the flat of a knife
  • 15 fresh Brussels sprouts halved lengthwise
  • 1 tsp Parmesan cheese freshly grated

INSTRUCTIONS

First, melt butter and oil in a medium skillet (over medium-high heat) until butter is foamy.

Then, reduce the heat to medium, add the crushed garlic and cook until lightly browned.

Remove the garlic and discard it.

Add the sprouts, cut side down, cover and cook without stirring over medium-low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender when pierced with a knife.

The cut side of the shoots should turn nice and golden, with a nutty and buttery flavor enhanced by the garlic.

Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan and salt and pepper to taste.
