Sausage Breakfast Casserole









This easy breakfast pan recipe is so cheesy and delicious! Perfect for breakfast, brunch or dinner

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 7 eggs or 6 eggs
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 cup pepper jack cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 20 oz. hash browns (frozen)
  • 2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

The day before: Thaw the hash browns the day before by placing the bag of frozen hash browns in the refrigerator.

First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Then, in a large skillet, add the olive oil and sauté the onions until caramelized. Then cook the sausage until it is no longer pink. Drain the fat.

Add the hash browns to the pan and cook until lightly browned. Place the hash browns in the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Garnish with sausage and cheese.

Whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper and milk. Pour over the sausage and the hash brown mixture.

Bake, uncovered, 35 to 40 minutes. Happy Cooking Time.
