DELMONICO POTATOES
It is a sour cream cheese sauce and a pan of grated potatoes.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 (32-oz) package frozen shredded hashbrown potatoes, thawed
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
First, preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Lightly spray a 9 × 13 inch pan with cooking spray. Divide the potatoes in the prepared pan. Put aside.
Then, in a large saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, dry mustard, salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Add cheese and cook over medium-low heat until cheese melts.
Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
