Honey Barbecue Chicken Bites

Honey barbecue chicken bites coated with crunchy cornflakes and mixed with a sweet honey barbecue sauce! Perfect as an aperitif or for dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • vegetable oil
  • honey bbq sauce
  • 1 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt

Instructions

First, cut the chicken into small pieces.

Then, whisk together milk and egg in a bowl.

Pour the flour, salt, pepper and paprika into a bag. Shake well.

Dip the chicken pieces in the milk / egg, then throw them in the flour bag. Immerse in the bowl (milk / egg mixture) and again in the flour bag making sure that the wings are covered twice. Put the wings on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Five minutes before removing from the refrigerator, heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan about 1 inch deep, over medium heat.

In small batches, place the chicken in the oil. Cook for about 6 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through cooking. Cook until the breading is golden. Put the wings on absorbent paper to cool.

Heat the barbecue honey sauce over medium heat and mix the chicken until well coated. Enjoy with a cold ranch dressing!

Happy Cooking Time.
