Vegetable Manchow Soup







Manchow vegetable soup is one of the Indo-Chinese soups and is very popular in India. Many vegetables that accompany this soup also make it healthier! Enjoy a bowl of this delicious Veg Manchow Soup everywhere in any season

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 beans, finely chopped
  • ¼ onion, finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 2 cups water, or as required
  • 2 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp vinegar, or as required
  • 2 tsp soy sauce, or as required
  • ½ capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 cup fried noodles, for toppings
  • ¼ cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 tsp chilli sauce, or as per your spice level
  • 1 tsp black pepper, crushed - or as per your spice level

FOR CORN STARCH:

  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tsp corn starch



INSTRUCTIONS

First, in a large, thick-bottomed tawa, add a teaspoon of oil with white onions and finely chopped onions. sauté until they become translucent.

Then, add the chopped ginger and garlic and sauté until the raw odor disappears.

Now add the chopped cabbage, beans and carrot or vegetables of your choice. sauté for one minute.

Add the finely chopped pepper and fry for another minute.

Also add 2 cups of water and stir well. add more water if necessary.

Boil for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked through. do not overcook the vegetables. you 

Should also enjoy the crunchy crunch of the vegetables.

Add salt to taste.

Add 2 tsp. chili sauce and boil for 2 minutes. adjust the chili sauce to your taste.

Now add 2 teaspoons of vinegar and 2 teaspoons of soy sauce.

Now stir the corn starch with water and make a paste. add it to the soup accordingly. stir and check 
for consistency. the more corn starch you add, the thicker your soup will be.

Finally add freshly ground black pepper and green onions. give a good mixture.

Serve the soup garnished with fried noodles and spring onions.
