Dump and Bake Chicken Parmesan

Dump and Bake Chicken Parmesan

I have always loved parmesan chicken, and with the crispy coating and the creamy, sticky cheese, I'm sure I'm not alone.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2–3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) package whole wheat penne pasta
  • 1 pound of chicken (cut into small pieces)

INSTRUCTIONS

First, preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.

Then, empty uncooked noodles, pasta sauce, water, chicken and 1/2 cup mozzarella into an ovenproof dish. Add salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients together. Make sure the liquid covers the pasta and the chicken.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Spread breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on a pasta dish. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the breadcrumbs are golden.

Happy Cooking Time.
