GARLIC AND HERB BUTTER QUICK BREAD
Ce pain
rapide aux herbes et à l'ail au parmesan est un pain tendre et savoureux qui
fait un excellent accompagnement à n'importe quel repas.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 415 ml buttermilk
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 110 g unsalted butter
- 320 g plain flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
Instructions
First, grease
a 20 cm pan. A metal box would be better to keep the quick bread from sticking,
but I had to use a pyrex glass dish.
Then, put
the butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave. Mix the garlic and 1 teaspoon
of dried parsley.
Pour the
butter into the baking dish.
Put the
flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and the other teaspoon of dried parsley in a
mixing bowl.
Stir in the
buttermilk to obtain a thick paste.
Put the
dough in the baking dish and pat it down and on the sides of the dish.
Use a knife
and mark the bread to make 9 pieces.
Bake the
bread in an oven preheated to 220 ° C for about 20-25 minutes.
The bread will
be raised and will be golden when it is ready.
Let it cool
a little in the pan, then turn it over on a wire rack to finish cooling. It's
delicious hot or cold. Happy Cooking Time.
