One Pot Seafood Pasta

One Pot Seafood Pasta

Boring old spaghetti gets a fun twist in this super simple meal, even the pasta is cooked right away!

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 oz Manila clams
  •  10 oz spaghetti
  • 4 oz scallops
  •  salt to taste
  • 4 oz shelled and deveined shrimp
  •  2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar/brown sugar
  •  3 cloves garlic, minced
  •  1 tablespoon chopped Italian basil leaves
  •  1 can tomato sauce (28 oz whole peeled tomatoes)
  •  chopped Italian parsley, for garnishing

DIRECTIONS

First, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drained and set aside. Mix the whole can of whole peeled tomatoes in a blender or food processor. Reserve the sauce.

Then, heat a pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil, then add the garlic. Sauté the garlic before adding the shrimp, Japanese clams and scallops. Stir to combine well with the garlic, then add the tomato sauce and the basil leaves. Cook the seafood until it is almost cooked, add salt (to taste) and sugar. Transfer the spaghetti to the pan, stir to mix well with the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Happy Cooking Time.
