INSTANT POT BAKED POTATOES
Learn how to prepare a recipe for instant baked potatoes easily and quickly in a pressure cooker with a soft, tender interior and crisp, seasoned skins.
INGREDIENTS:
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 medium russet potatoes*
- 1 cup water
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
First, add water to a 6 quart Instant Pot®. Place the metal trivet in the pot.
Then, pierce the potatoes with a fork; place the potatoes on top of the baking pan. Select the manual setting; set the pressure to high and set the time to 14 minutes. When cooking is complete, naturally release the pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
When cool enough to handle, cut each potato in half lengthwise; garnish with butter and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
