Easy Cheese Bomb Bread
There's nothing better than dipping in soft, warm, buttered bread fresh from the oven, except when stuffed with cheese. This recipe is the quickest and easiest bread recipe because there is no yeast, no kneading and no waiting to raise the dough.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 16.3 ounce can Grands style biscuits
- 16 cubes cheddar cheese 3/4" x 3/4"
- cooking spray
INSTRUCTIONS
First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Then, cut each cookie in half crosswise with a serrated knife.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet covered with cooking spray.
Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center of each cookie.
Fold cookie dough around cheese, pinching seams to seal.
Place each side of cookie on the baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. You may need to cook the cheese bombs in batches.
Place the butter, garlic powder and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
Microwave until the butter has melted.
Brush 3 tablespoons of garlic butter on top of the cheese bombs. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the cheese bombs.
Reserve the remaining tablespoon of garlic butter.
Bake the cheese bombs for 10 minutes or until lightly browned - do not overcook or the cheese may overflow.
Brush the remaining tablespoon of garlic butter over the cooked cheese bombs and sprinkle with parsley, then serve immediately.
Happy Cooking Time.
