BAKED SWEET HAWAIIAN CHICKEN
This
Hawaiian Baked Chicken Recipe is so easy and your family will love it. Chicken
recipes are my favorite recipe because they are usually quick and not too
difficult to make. We love the ease here! The sweetness of the pineapple mixed
with the red pepper is so delicious. You will want to do this over and over
again!
Ingredients
- 3 eggs, beaten
- ¼ cup canola oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1½ cup cornstarch
Sweet
Hawaiian Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ½ tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 1 (20 oz) can pineapple tidbits, drained
Instructions
First. preheat
the oven to 325 degrees. Cut the chicken breast into bite-size pieces and
season with salt and pepper.
Then, in
another bowl, lightly place the cornstarch and beaten egg. Dip the chicken in
the corn flour and coat with the egg mixture. (Yes, you dip the chicken in corn
flour. I promise this method is extraordinary.)
Heat the
canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until
golden. Place the chicken in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
In a medium
blender, shake with pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic and
cornstarch. Add the red pepper and pineapple. Pour the chicken and bake for 1
hour.
I stir the
chicken every 15 minutes so that it is covered with sauce.
Happy
Cooking Time.
