Malteser Rocky Road
Rocky roads
are ideal when you have chocolate leftovers from Easter or Christmas or if you
want to make something sweet for a no-cooking treat.
Ingredients
- 300 g Maltesers
- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 4 tbsp Golden syrup
- 200 g Milk chocolate
- 180 g Mini marshmallows
- 150 g Butter
To decorate:
- 100 g Maltesers
- 200 g White chocolate
Instructions
First, Melt
butter, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and golden syrup and mix well. (See
recipe tips above regarding cast iron.)
Then, Let
the chocolate cool slightly then incorporate the Maltesers and mini
marshmallows.
Line a
pastry dish with 20 cm x 20 cm of parchment paper and press the mixture firmly.
Melt the
white chocolate and pour on top. Tap the remaining Maltesers.
Let stand in
the refrigerator for at least two hours.
Unmould and
cut into small pieces with a very sharp knife.
