30 Minute Toasted Tortellini
Tortellini
with pesto is a favorite meal of the family. You can have this easy chicken
pasta dish on your table in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp. salted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- ¼ c. julienned fresh basil
- ⅓ c. freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 12 oz. cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (20 oz.) package three cheese tortellini
- ¼ c. prepared pesto with basil
instructions
First, In a
large pot of boiling water, cook the tortellini as directed in the package.
Drain and set aside.
Then, Meanwhile,
while cooking tortellini, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high
heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for 4-5 minutes or until golden. Add the drained
tortellini and cook until lightly browned and browned around the edges. Add the
garlic and cook until fragrant.
Remove from
heat and stir in pesto, basil and parmesan cheese.
