Cinnamon Roll Muffins






Cinnamon Roll Muffins







These fluffy muffins are filled with cinnamon swirls and topped with vanilla icing. They look like cinnamon buns, but in the form of muffins.

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter melted and cooled
  • 2 cups all purpose flour

Topping
  • 3 Tbsp butter melted
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed

Frosting
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp milk (enough to make a good drizzling consistency.

Instructions

First, Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Then, Grease or extend the muffin pan.

In blender, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

In another bowl, mix butter, egg and milk.

Pour in the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined. Do not mix too much.

Combine the ingredients of the filling.

Stir half of the mixture into the muffin batter, gently. Do not stir too much.

Fill the muffin tin with 1/4 cup of dough in each opening.

Cover with remaining sugar mixture.

Bake at 375 ° F for 12-15 minutes or until the muffin comes back when you lightly press it.

Take out of the oven and let cool down. Transfer to a grid.

Mix the frosting ingredients. Sprinkle with muffins.
