CARAMEL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
The secret
ingredients of these delicious cookies are these Kraft caramel nuggets. You can
find them in the aisle of cooking in most grocery stores.
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup caramel chips
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
First, Preheat
the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line the baking sheets with parchment paper
and set aside.
Then, Add
butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Using an electric
mixer, beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
In a medium
bowl, sift together baking soda, salt and flour. Gradually add the dry
ingredients to the butter / sugar mixture, beating on low speed.
Scrape the
bowl then beat on medium speed for another 30 seconds until everything is well
mixed.
Add the
chocolate chips and caramel nuggets to the dough, then stir to mix well. Place
the dough using rounded soup spoons on prepared baking sheets, about 2-3 inches
apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes (mine are ready for 10 minutes), then take out
of the oven and let the cookies cool slightly before transferring to a rack.
