Banana Bread Overnight Oats
Just like
banana bread baked out of the oven, but with almost no effort, these overnight
banana bread oats are a breakfast that will wake you - literally, as they wait
for you in the morning!
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2/3 cup oats, dry
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
- 1 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoon pecans, chopped
- 1 1/2 medium banana
Instructions
First, Crush
1 banana with a fork in a large bowl. Add oats, yoghurt, chia seeds, milk and
cinnamon. Mix well.
Then, Pour
the mixture into two jars of half a pint (1 cup). Cover and refrigerate
overnight.
Cut half of
a sliced banana and garnish each jar with banana slices and a tablespoon of
chopped pecans. Happy Cooking Time.
