TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE
Pre-made
tuna noodle casserole with noodles, peas, tuna, celery, a delicious creamy
sauce for pedagogue and humble crackers above. This mellow recipe is a hit in
our party fare; my children like that!
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1/2 yellow onion chopped
- 1 celery stalk chopped
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 3 cans tuna drained (15 ounce total)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.75 ounces
- 4 cups egg noodles cooked 1 minute shy of the directions
- 32 Ritz crackers crushed into crumbs
Instructions
FirstPreheat
the oven to 400 degrees.
Then, In a
skillet, add canola oil over medium heat and cook onion and celery for 2-3
minutes, until onions become translucent.
Add the
onion mixture in a large bowl with the mushroom soup, condensed milk and peas.
Mix well, then add tuna and noodles carefully.
Pour into a
baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, then in a small bowl, combine crumbs of
crackers, butter and cheese, sprinkle with the dish and cook another 10
