Oreo Cupcakes
Prepare
these Oreo cookies and cream cupcakes! Soft chocolate cake topped with an icing
that tastes the same as cream that fills an oréo!
Ingredients
For the
cupcakes
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 box triple chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 6 Oreos finely crumbled
- 1 box unprepared chocolate pudding
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
For frosting
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 container Cool Whip
- 4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 package cream cheese softened
Instructions
First, Preheat
the oven to 350 degrees.
Then, Mix
the cake mix, oil, unprepared pudding, sour cream, eggs and water. Then add the
chocolate chips and the finely chopped oreos.
Bake in
cupcake molds for about 18 minutes.
While the
cupcakes are cooling, make the glaze.
Beat the
cream cheese and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Slowly add the sugar while
continuing to mix the cream cheese mixture.
At low
speed, add the cold whip.
You may need
to let the frosting go in the fridge while the cupcakes continue to cool. Make
sure the cupcakes are completely cold before adding icing.
Put your
icing in a pastry bag.
Glue the tip
of the pastry bag into the cake and squeeze a little glaze in the center. You
will see the cupcake swell.
Then frost
the cupcakes as usual and sprinkle with crushed Oreo. If you wish, stick a
piece of Oreo in the frosting, for a little flair and extra goodness in
biscuits. Happy Cooking Time.
