Banana Pudding

Banana Pudding

This recipe gives the best banana pudding I've ever tasted. And I bet it's the best banana pudding you've ever tasted.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 bananas sliced
  • 1 5 oz. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 12 oz. box Vanilla Wafers
  • 3 8 oz. whipped topping thawed (or 6 cups homemade whipped cream)

Instructions

First, In large bowl, beat cream cheese until foamy and without tufting. Add sweetened condensed milk, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla and beat until smooth.

Then, Fold in 8 oz. whipped cream and mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Line the bottom of a bagatelle dish with vanilla wafers around the edges. Add half the mixture to the pudding and spread on a layer of sliced bananas. Add a layer of whipped topping. Repeat the layers. Nilla wafers - pudding mix - bananas - whipped topping.

Cover with more wafers and banana slices if desired. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving. Happy Cooking Time.
