Firecracker Shrimp Recipe
This firecracker shrimp recipe takes spicy shrimp to a replacement level, with just the proper combination of sweet, tangy, and funky flavors. Ready in minutes!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup chili-garlic sauce
2 tablespoons hot chili oil
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper use paprika for sweeter, or pepper flakes for spiciness!
1 teaspoon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pound peeled and deveined prawns
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
FOR TOPPING: Spicy pepper flakes with chopped fresh parsley, chili slices
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Mix chili-garlic sauce, chili oil, sriracha, vinegar, honey, cayenne pepper, juice and a pinch of salt and pepper during a small bowl until smooth. this is often your firecracker shrimp condiment and frosting.
2.Add the prawns to an outsized bowl and add half the firecracker prawn marinade. Stir to coat the prawns evenly. Refrigerate for five to 10 minutes, but you'll cook directly if you would like .
3.Heat vegetable oil medium heat. Add shrimp and cook, 2-3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
4.Brush with remaining firecracker shrimp frosting. Reserve remaining seasonings or frosting for serving.
5.Decorate and serve!
