Chocolate Cake







This incredibly delicious chocolate cake recipe features the sweetest cake with a rich chocolate flavor covered in silky chocolate frosting.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup of boiling water

Chocolate icing

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 6-8 tablespoons of milk
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 cups of powdered sugar

Instructions

First, line two 9 "round pans with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray. Preheat the oven to 350 °.

Then, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Stir in milk, oil, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in boiling water, mix until smooth.

Distribute the dough evenly between the two molds. Bake at 350 ° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes in the molds, then invert on cooling racks.

Cool completely. Place a cake on a cake stand or serving tray. Spread about a cup of frosting on top. Place the other cake on top. Frost sides and top of cake. Serve immediately or cover and let sit overnight.

For the frosting, beat all ingredients in a bowl until smooth, adding enough milk to achieve a spreadable consistency.
