 Thai Bean Sprout Salad



My recipe for today is Thai Bean Sprouts Salad. I've always loved the crunchiness of bean sprouts, especially in Vietnamese cooking, once I can put them during a steamed pho bowl or put them during a noodle salad. Also, I appreciate the flavour they provide to their Chinese fried rice dishes, albeit few restaurants have done more, by simplifying their recipes a touch .


INGREDIENT

Salad:

8 ounces of fresh green bean sprouts

2 spring onions, grated

1/4 cup grated fresh carrots

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

2 Thai bird peppers, sliced or 2 tablespoons chopped bell peppers for garnish

Bearing:

2 tablespoons of rice vinegar

1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce

1 tablespoon toasted vegetable oil

1 teaspoon lemongrass paste

1 teaspoon fish sauce

1 teaspoon honey


INSTRUCTIONS

1.Place the salad ingredients during a bowl.

2.Whisk the dressing ingredients and gently mix with the salad.

3.Serve immediately.
