Onion Crackers


 Onion Crackers



Crackers are very easy to make; as easy as making flatbread dough, chop it up and bake it briefly. I made minor changes to the procedure


INGREDIENT:

2 cups all-purpose flour / maida

1/4 cup warm water

salt

4 teaspoons sesame seeds (I roast sesame seeds very lightly during a frying pan)

1/3 cup of oil

4 tablespoons melted butter

1.5 large onions, finely chopped (I used yellow onions here, but the onions will taste better)

1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

3 green peppers, finely chopped (adjust the quantity consistent with taste)

A handful of fresh cilantro / cilantro, finely chopped

2 teaspoons of sugar

A little coarse salt to sprinkle on top



INSTRUCTIONS:

1.In a large bowl, combine flour / maida, sesame seeds, half an onion, salt, sugar , soda, chopped cilantro, sweet pepper and blend well. Add oil and butter, then spread to the mixture. A large, bumpy lump will form but that's okay.

2.(Note: I'm only using half the quantity of onions here, because the more onions added will release more water when the dough is resting and therefore the dough are going to be difficult to figure with. Don't add a minimum of a couple of onions now, to let the flavour sink in)

3.Add warm water and make a thick paste. At now , if you think that you've got an excessive amount of onion, don't be concerned , the more the higher the taste. Knead it well for about 2-3 minutes and canopy with a humid cloth. Let represent half-hour .

4.Preheat oven to 325 F.

5.Knead the remainder of the chopped onion gently. don't be concerned if it doesn't mix well.

6.On a well-floured surface, remove the dough as you'd make cake batter. (If you've got trouble doing this, use the Supriya method: "So I took the small balls out of the dough and placed them between 2 smeared plastic sheets. Apply pressure and switch them into a flat disk. Remove the highest cover and hand tip to spread the dough and make it even. maybe. ")

7.Take a round kitchen utensil or glass or small bowl with a pointy edge and cut the cake slices. Repeat this process for the remaining dough also .

8.Place the round strips on the greased baking sheet. Make holes in each section with a fork, this manner the cake won't expand and air will escape during baking. Sprinkle coarse salt on the biscuits.

9.Bake for about 25 to half-hour until golden brown.
