Grilled Maple Mustard Chicken
Grilled Chicken with Mustard and Maple - So Simple! Only 6 ingredients - chicken, maple, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika and salt. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator then grill
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- kosher salt, pepper
- 1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs (can also use breasts)
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
First, in a bowl, combine the pure maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce and fresh rosemary, whisk until well blended.
Then, place the chicken in a gallon-sized plastic bag. Add 4 tablespoons of maple mustard sauce, kosher salt and pepper to taste and crushed red chili flakes if using. Massage the bag until it is evenly mixed. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
Grill the chicken over medium-high heat for 5 to 8 minutes per side. Brush with more maple mustard sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.
Serve with the rest of the maple mustard sauce for dipping.
