Hoisin-Glazed Spare Ribs


 Hoisin-Glazed Spare Ribs



This hoisin frozen rib recipe is one my mom made all the time once we were kids. we do not have the posh of waiting an hour after they get home from work to bake it within the oven, so my mom would usually put it during a autoclave and toast it with sauce. The recipe below cooks it. Whichever way you select to try to to it, you'll eat a delicious a part of my childhood


INGREDIENT

▢2 pound rib

▢3 tablespoons of duck sauce

▢6 tablespoons of honey

▢2 teaspoon of 5 seasoning powder

▢1 teaspoon soy

▢2 tablespoons of shaoxing cooking wine

▢ Chopped or two pieces of white pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

1.On an outsized baking sheet, cover with foil and place cut of beef on top of the foil.

2.Beat all the ingredients for the sauce (hoisin, honey, five spices powder, soy sauce, cooking wine, and white pepper).

3.Pour the sauce over the ribs then , using your hands, coat the ribs with all the sauce. Cover the pan with another layer of foil, then let it cool to soak for a minimum of 4 hours, preferably overnight.

4.When the ribs are soaking, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

5.Place the closed baking sheet within the oven and cook for 1 hour, turning the ribs half way through while cooking and greasing with the liquid that has collected at rock bottom of the pan.

6.When the ribs are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a plate. Pour the liquid that has collected at rock bottom of the pan into alittle saucepan and convey to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly. If it doesn't thicken easily, simply mix during a little cornstarch and water mixture (1 teaspoon cornstarch to 2 teaspoons water) and thicken immediately. 

7.Pour the thick sauce over the ribs and serve!
