Cranberry Baked Brie
Baked Cranberry Brie - An easy 15-minute appetizer that's filled and topped with a richly spiced orange-flavored cranberry sauce. Perfect for receiving vacations!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
- 8 oz of brie cheese (whole wheel of brie cheese)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Instructions
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Then, line a small baking dish with parchment paper. Place the brie in the baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes until the brie softens.
In a small saucepan or skillet, add honey, balsamic vinegar and dried cranberries. Bring this mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 minute, stirring, until the sauce reduces a little and the cranberries puff.
Carefully transfer the brie to a serving dish, using something flat like a pie pie. Top with hot honey, balsamic and cranberry mixture. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and pomegranate seeds.
Serve with crackers.
