CHINESE SAUSAGE FRIED RICE


 



CHINESE SAUSAGE FRIED RICE







A quick and tasty dish prepared in just minutes, Chinese Sausage Fried Rice offers a balanced smoky, salty and sweet taste.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 4 cups overnight, leftover steamed rice
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Chinese lap cheong sausages, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 3 dashes of ground white pepper or black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

First, heat a wok or pan with the cooking oil over medium heat. Add and sauté the garlic until it is aromatic. Add the Chinese lap cheong sausage, stir and cook for about 1 minute. Add the eggs, cook and break the eggs into pieces using a spatula. Add the mixed vegetables and mix well. Add the rice, mix to mix well with all the ingredients.

Then, add the fish sauce, soy sauce, ground pepper, salt and continue to sauté for a minute or two. As soon as the rice is well toasted, turn out and serve immediately. Happy Cooking Time.

NOTES

Leftover rice is ideal for making fried rice due to the low moisture content of rice.
