Nutella Oreo Gelato
Nutella Oreo Gelato - Creamy and rich, this Nutella chocolate ice cream with Oreo chunks makes a mouthwatering combination
Ingredients
- 7 crushed Oreo cookies
- 4 tablespoons of Nutella
- 4 cups of milk (I used 2%) 1 liter
- 1 cup full cream 240 grams
- 1 1/4 cups fine / fruit sugar (no icing or powdered sugar)
Instructions
First, in a medium bowl, add the cream, milk and sugar, beat on medium speed for 20 seconds.
Then, pour into the ice cream maker, use a spatula to get all the ingredients.
When the ice cream is almost done (in the last 5-10 minutes), add the Nutella and crushed Oreo cookies, and continue until it reaches the desired creamy texture (see ice cream maker instructions) on mine took 30 minutes. Depending on when you add the Nutella, your gelato will either have a larger Nutella addition or a more incorporated Nutella addition.
This recipe can be cut in half if not used for the cake. Depending on the size of your ice cream maker, you may need to double batch if you are using it for the cake. Happy Cooking Time.
