Spanish Garlic Prawns
Make sure you have all of your ingredients together before heading to the stove because from start to finish it cooks in minutes. It's great for a tapas night because you can prepare everything in advance. Simply pour the shrimp and sauce over toast and sprinkle cayenne pepper and parsley on top to enjoy.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, diced
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 pinches of sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed pepper
- 1/2 large squeezed lemon
- 650 g king prawns, deveined, heads parted with intact peeled tails
- 50g unsalted butter, cubed at room temperature
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 2 pinches of crushed black pepper
Method
First, preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Then, line the cast iron casseroles with shrimp and squeeze the lemon juice over them.
In a small pan, heat the oil and butter and add the garlic.
While sautéing the garlic, add the chili, paprika, parsley, salt and pepper.
Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
Pour the garlic sauce over the shrimp and place the lids on the pans.
Put in the oven for 15 minutes maximum.
