Brownie Cheesecake
This cheesecake brownie bar is that the better of both worlds. the bottom may be a chocolate brownie - made up of scratch otherwise you can use a canned mixture. Then there's the soft, creamy cheesecake layer.
INGREDIENTS
Brownie layer *
1 cup unsalted butter, melt
2 cups sugar
1 cup chocolate
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs, temperature
1 cup flour
Cheese Cake Layer
24 ounces of cheese , softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup soured cream
1 tablespoon cornstarch
4 large eggs
INSTRUCTIONS
Make the brownies
1.Preheat oven to 325F degrees.
2.Line a 9 x 13 inch baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
3.In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, chocolate and salt.
4.Stir in vanilla and egg.
5.Gently add the flour.
6.Pour the mixture into the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the highest is firm, but still shiny. (It will always falter.) Remove from oven.
Make a cheesecake
8.When the brownie is cooking, make a layer of the cheesecake.
9.Beat cheese and sugar until soft.
10.Stir within the soured cream , vanilla and cornstarch. close up the mixer and scrape the edges of the bowl.
11.Using a mixer over low heat, beat the eggs carefully until combined.
12.Place the dough on the toasted brownie layer and spread it evenly. take care , the pan will get hot.
13.Place within the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the highest is tough and jiggles slightly as you push the pan.
14.Turn off the oven, open the oven door and let the oven cool for half-hour .
15.Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to temperature . Wrap the pan 16.in wrapping or aluminium foil and let it cool within the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
17.Cut it into wedges and sprinkle with a pie filling or fresh fruit to serve.
