Asian Chilli Garlic Shrimp






Juicy prawns / prawns in a sticky, spicy and garlic sweet sauce. A quick dinner that tastes like a stir-fry of homemade chili jam you get at modern Thai restaurants!

INGREDIENTS

  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of chili flakes
  • 1 1/2 lbs peeled shrimp, deveined, with tail
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley
  • crispy french bread for serving, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat. Add the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, until the garlic is golden brown. Add the shrimp and salt to taste. Stir until the shrimp are cooked through. Stir in parsley and serve immediately with sliced French bread (optional). Happy Cooking Time.
