Thai Basil Chinese fried rice Chinese fried rice is my favorite fried rice lately!
I eat with chicken, I eat with tofu, I eat with impossible meat and that i like it all! But I even have to mention Thai basil Chinese fried rice Chinese fried rice with shrimp is certainly a winner for me! So my Thai basil fried rice should be with shrimp, but you'll use whatever protein you wish , anything will work!

INGREDIENT
3 to five garlic cloves
1 to five Thai peppers consistent with your taste
1 medium purple onion
2 tablespoons oyster sauce (you can substitute vegetarian oyster sauce)
1 tablespoon fish sauce (can be substituted with Thai soy sauce)
1 tablespoon palm sugar or honey
1/4 teaspoon black or white pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 ounces extra 16/20 jumbo shrimp, peeled and discarded
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups day old cold jasmine rice


INSTRUCTIONS
1.Mash the garlic and Thai chilies with a mortar and pestle. This way, the natural chilies and garlic oil will come off, making the Chinese fried rice even more flavorful. you'll grind carefully with a knife and cut if you do not have a mortar and pestle. Set aside. Slice shallots, put aside with garlic and chilies.
2.Combine oyster sauce, fish sauce, palm sugar and pepper during a small bowl, set aside.
3.Heat an outsized skillet or skillet over high heat until you smoke. Add butter, garlic, chili onion and shrimp. Sauté all of them and cook the prawns for 1 minute on all sides , then mix everything within the pan and push to at least one side of the skillet.
4.Crack 2 eggs during a pan. Let the eggs cook for a short time then stir the eggs. When the eggs are cooked but still soft, mix everything together.
5.Add cold rice and pour within the sauce mixture. Stir until the rice is evenly coated within the sauce, about 2 to three minutes.
6.Add basil and switch off the warmth . Keep stirring until the basil is well mixed with the Chinese fried rice .
7.Transfer to a serving plate and luxuriate in it hot!
