MUJADARA


MUJADARA


This mujadara is extremely easy to organize with simple ingredients that you simply may have already got . filled with flavor, full of the proper texture, and naturally vegan.

INGREDIENT
3 cups of rice
5 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
1/3 cup vegetable oil + 2 tbsp, divided
2 cups cooked lentils
3 cups onions, sliced
salt, pepper to taste
SELECTION:
1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
1.Heat a skillet with 1/3 cup of vegetable oil , leaving 2 tablespoons remaining for later. confirm the oil is hot, then add the onions and fry for quarter-hour . Stir until caramelized, season with salt and pepper.

2.At an equivalent time, heat another pot or pan with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil . Add chopped garlic and fry for 1 minute

3.Now add cumin, rice and lentils to the present pan. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4 minutes. Add optional onions and parsley, if desired.
