CHEWY OATMEAL COOKIES


These cookies are my family's FAVORITE oatmeal cookies. They're super delicious, have a stunning texture, and better of all, they're soft and chewy! No durum cakes here

INGREDIENT
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, at temperature
2 large eggs
1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla
2 and 1/2 cups of FAST oats
1 teaspoon leaven
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups flour
2 cups. chocolate chips

INSTRUCTION
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line an outsized baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat liner.

2.In a stand mixer equipped with a paddle attachment, beat sugar , white sugar and temperature butter (NOT melted) until smooth. The mixture should resemble spread .

3.Add egg and vanilla , beat until blended.
In a separate bowl, combine the oatmeal, leaven , bicarbonate of soda , sea salt, flour and chocolate chips. Beat until well blended.

4.Add dry to the moisture and stir until just blended being careful to not mix an excessive amount of .
Roll out the dough the dimensions of a ball and place it 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for six to eight minutes or until browned. Pay close attention to not overripe; Lightly baked oatmeal cake makes the simplest chewy cake!
