GRILLED SWORDFISH WITH MANGO SALSA

GRILLED SWORDFISH WITH MANGO SALSA

Delicious grilled fish come out of the water and enter your heart with the sweet and spicy salsa.

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 green onions
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • pinch of cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 2 mangos
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 red bell pepper

Instructions

Mango sauce

First, in a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, oil, pinch of cumin powder, kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

Then, add the mango cubes and toss to coat and marinate.

Dice half of a red onion, chop the green onions, cilantro and peppers and place them in the mango bowl.

Using latex or rubber gloves, cut off the stem of the jalapeno pepper and remove the seed and the white membrane, discard it. Cut the pepper into small cubes and add it to the bowl.

Stir to coat and marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Grill the swordfish

Preheat the grill to 500 ° F. Salt and pepper your swordfish and grill.

Place the swordfish on a cleaned grill and lower the heat to 400 ° F. I like having grill marks on mine and 2-3 minutes per side should do this for a tender, cooked through swordfish. You don't want to overcook or it will be dry. We want moist, evenly cooked fish.

Happy Cooking Time.
