Classic Waffles Recipe
Nothing beats these square waffles that our mom made for us in the 70s and 80s! This waffle recipe works perfectly in these old and new waffle irons!
Ingredients
- Egg - 1
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
- Milk - ¾ cup
- Baking Powder - 2 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tblsp
- All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup
- Butter - 2 tblsp melted or use oil
Instructions
First, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Then, take the egg, milk, oil and vanilla in a bowl and mix well.
Pour this into dry ingredients and mix well.
heat the waffle iron and coat with oil.
Pour the dough and cook until golden brown on both sides.
