Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Cake

A good old fashioned peanut butter cake with hot and crazy frosting!

Ingredients

CAKE

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 3/4 cup Peanut Butter

FROSTING

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 cup softened Butter

Instructions

First, preheat the oven to 350.

Then, grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter. Sprinkle with flour to prevent it from sticking.

Whisk together the flour, sugar and baking soda in a large bowl.

Add milk, eggs and vanilla to a bowl.

Beat the mixture at low speed until homogeneous.

Add the water butter and peanut butter to a saucepan.

Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until smooth (about 5 minutes).

Add the peanut butter mixture to the flour mixture.

Stir until the dough is well mixed and pour into the prepared dish.

Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Let cool.

Cream the butter and peanut butter together.

Slowly add the sugar, if it becomes too thick, add a little milk to dilute.

Continue until all the sugar is in and the icing is mixed to the right consistency.

Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.

Happy Cooking Time.
