Iceberg Wedge Salad Recipe








Prepare a favorite steakhouse at home with this quick and easy recipe for Iceberg quarter salad with buttermilk vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 4 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 4 slices bacon cooked & crumbled
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup red onions thinly sliced
  • blue cheese salad dressing recipe below or store bought

Instructions

First, slice the lettuce head in half and again so that there are four quarters. Remove the core and place the corners on a tray.

Then, cut and quarter the cherry tomatoes, cut the red onion and slice the green onion.

Top each quarter with blue cheese vinaigrette (this helps other items stick), cherry tomatoes, red and green onions and blue cheese. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
