Butterscotch Cheesecake Bars
Caramel
Cheesecake Bars - A super fluffy crust made with caramel chips and Graham
cracker crumbs that doubles as a garnish !! The layer of silky and tangy
cheesecake is the PERFECT contrast!
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 250g package cream cheese, softened
- 1 300g package butterscotch chips
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
First, preheat
the oven to 350F. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
Then, add
the caramel chips and butter to a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. To
melt. Stir in graham cracker crumbs and pecans. Press half of the mixture into
the prepared baking dish.
Beat cream
cheese until fluffy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and egg. Pour
over the crumbs. Garnish with the remaining crumbs.
Bake for 25
minutes. Let cool to room temperature then refrigerate in the refrigerator
before serving. Happy Cooking Time.
